Over Down to Earth’ss second year, the consortium investigated access barriers faced by young farmers in depopulated rural regions across Europe. The research revealed cross-cutting challenges, shared despite diverse local contexts, that hinder generational renewal, impacting communities’ resilience and long-term development. These insights were turned into a set of common solutions and policy recommendations designed to foster stronger, more sustainable rural territories.
